Dear Hydro Glow,

Two public fishing docks have been constructed on Lake Powell, UT/AZ, the second largest manmade reservoir in the US. Both are in deep water and designed to mainly attract striped bass. Crappie, bass and sunfish are also attracted to the green glow. The docks are handicap accessible although both have steep grades on the walkways some distance from the dock itself.

The Wahweap Dock has two Hydro Glow 4 foot lights on either end of the 40-foot long dock.  They are hardwired into the dock power supply and turned on each night to attract the nightly food chain.  Plankton swarms, followed by small fish and then larger predators.  Anglers come to fish or just to watch the excitement as shad and sunfish are chased by stripers and bass.

We have just purchased two of the new horizontal 'dock lights' to enhance the Antelope Point Dock.

The lighting experiment has proven to be very successful with night fishing use on the docks more than doubling after the lights were installed.  Thanks for the great lights and the quick service on orders.
